Thank you for taking the time and effort. I like your re-working of the image but my desire while processing the image (shot only in raw hence no camera jpg that can be uploaded) was to be true to the sight that charmed me. This is the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. They have made these beautiful arches on which, that day, the sun was shining. Manhattan itself was cloud-covered and I could see its structures in their grandiosity yet cloaked in dullness. The air in these parts is so clean that you could make out the individual buildings but, in the poor light owing to the cloud cover, not their individual details beyond degrees of shadows and subdued hues. In effect, this arched structure appeared the the real beauty, and Manhattan a pale backdrop.
