LenMarriott 9 Posted September 10, 2010 No 'U' turns for sure! But I'll lay odds, before the day is out, that some Bozo will try it anyway. :-) Thanks for your most welcome visit. Best, LM. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted September 10, 2010 The laugh is on me. I didn't notice the gaffe. What does that say about MY English? And it's my one & only language. Another case for a no time limit editing capability. (recently denied to us) Not to worry, you are among friends. Best, LM. Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted September 25, 2010 Complex and successful composition. Six arrows leading my eyes ;-) Another way to read this photo starts with the man and child, surrounded or kind of attacked by those arrows. Great find, well seen and captured. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 26, 2010 Six arrows? Not noticed at the time of exposure. Had to count them to verify that you are absolutely correct. Perhaps a subliminal thing? Anyway, time to 'fess' up, the shot is a set up inspired by the famous Abbey Lane photo of the Beatles. The man & boy are my son & grandson and I had them start on the left side and walk to the right while my Canon A540 P&S merrily clicked multiple exposures (about 8 or 9 were taken) as they walked across. This is my personal favourite of the bunch. What I did think of prior to the exposure was the bold graphics of the arrows on the pavement and how the straight arrow should be pointing close to the subjects. A little work in Photoshop enhanced the originally yellow large arrows. Thanks for your participation. Makes it all worth while. Best, LM. Link to comment
