Simple and very nice composition! The picture makes a nice story and paradox as it is like if the scissors were there before the barn..which of course is irrational.

Sorry, these are not to be used for anything.  Please no running with these and no haircuts. 

Actually, interesting to see them hanging from this hook and they've obviously been lost there for quite some time.  And you made a nice discovery of them here.  They seem like if you reached over to touch them they would crumble before your eyes.

I love the idea, and colors. It tells a bit of a story. Have you tried to put the scissors more to the left. I think that would make an even stronger picture. Ben

Liz, I have just spent some time going through much of your wonderful portfolio and kept coming back to this. I love the wonderful varied textures in the wood along with the rusted nails and scissors. Simple and so elegant.
