As I scrolled through the thumbnails in the critique forum, this images stood out from dozens of others.

For me the appeal was the warm colors, limited palette and most of all the simplicity of the photo.  The off-center composition is good as well.  Upon viewing the larger version I see the that the shallow depth of field adds even more appeal to the image.

I'm not sure I like the square crop, but I like everything else!  Nice work.

Vladimir, I enjoy the feeling of peacefulness and solitude you captured with this photo.  The color palette is soothing, the composition pleasing and the DoF is well managed.  Nice work.  Cheers, Doug.

The warm summer sunset is very appealing to me.  I also like the unusual dof on this, it works well.  Usually I like seeing a nice crisp horozon on a sunset like this but you seemed to challenge that norm and made a wonderful image.  Seems very peaceful.

This beautiful image evokes the mood of pensive, quiet thought and introspection. The time of day, subject and composition express the captivation of simplistic harmony. Truly an intriguing capture. I have viewed your portfolio and you are gifted with an incredible eye. Regards, Catherine
