Hmmm, new rating system.  Oh well, I guess the old 6/6 is now just 6 but I hope it has the same meaning.  Anyways, I love you attention to detail.  The work you did on this is magical.  I love the yellow glowing balls and the one she appears to be creating with her breath.  I also like her contrasty look against the bokeh background.  It's kind of different but it works and it has you creative touch.

Thanks for the feedback. This is my first try with this technique. I'm working on a different version with a blue-ish theme. Yes it's different. I can see the newbies hate it. Lol. I wouldn't mind the low ratings if they would tell me why. My model is so cool. She will try anything I ask.

Thanks for looking !!

Joe, I love this one!  Her white face and hand remind me of Kabuki, but those marvelous yellow spots are magical, particularly against the backdrop of luminous yellows and green like a fairytale come to life.

You hit upon the Japanese connection I was hoping others might see. I didn't plan that but that's what I thought of after my ps adjustments. Some of the bg is a field of golden rods, which inspired the yellow balls of magical energy. Thank you :)

I, too, see the obvious Japanese influence. You got there, intended or not! Her genteel gesture of blowing does appear, as mentioned, to be picked up by the golden ball just above her hand. So that gives energy to and internal connection within the photo. It's a dynamic implied line. There is a sense in which she looks a bit like a cutout from the background. I think that's because she is so designed and stylized and the background has a more organic, more typically photographic look. Speaking of the background, it really seems to move and have a quality of depth. Also, I notice that her hand, overall, is much less stylized and detailed than her face.

I didn't clue into the Asian influence until it was mentioned by Donna.  I thought of faeries and Hobbits and toadstool rings and magical places where people glow.  I almost expect a swirl of fireflies to emanate from her palm.  The contrast between her stylized features and the dim, natural background is somewhat jarring, and both seem to depend on the other to work their magic.
