encounters - faces, places, friends and more in cagayan de oro, philippines New Twin-Tower Hotel - Going Up!

Here in Cagayan de Oro, Northern Mindanao, Philippines at theLimKetKai Mall complex there is a lot of construction going on. Thisshows a portion of a covered walkway that will connect the mall to anew twin eight-storey retail/office building, one building of which iscompleted, as well as a new twin-tower twenty-one storey hotel. Thetower-crane is almost ready to get to work on the hotel.

Across the street a new Starbuck's is nearing completion as is anextension to the the second floor of one wing of the mall.

That is but a tiny bit of the new construction under-way in and aroundthe city. We are in the midst of a Construction Boom!

I like these lines and colors.

Wow, This is really gorgeous. All the light pastel colours of the sky and the steel structure make the bright orange of the crane and I-beams look fabulous. Really very striking. I am amazingly drawn to this photo!
