Yulong River is a tributary of Li River - one of the most famous and

beautiful rivers in China. I went to this location around 6pm, while

the sun was still high. The mountains and their reflections in the

river attracted my attention. But it took me 30 minutes to find some

interesting foreground. By the end, I found a dumpped raft, I used it

to get into the middle of the river, found a shallow area with full of

water grass, and set up my tripod into the water. After sun went down

completely, the sky changed its color dramatically.

Your persistence, and ingenuity in this situation paid off handsomely with this excellent shot Yan! Well chosen foreground, and excellent lighting.

All the best,
Neil
