Thankyou for those kind words Birte.  I think some patterns would look great on a Pareo or any type of woman's 'sun clothing'.  I love Pareo's, no wardrobe is complete without one, they are so versatile.  My thanks for your visit and enthusiastic remarks.  Most sincerely, Gail

This truly attractive design with vibrant color. Symmetrical design with curves and line. Looks like a view from a kaleidoscope. Your hunkering down paid off. <P> I avoid critiquing abstracts as I just don't understand them. This I still don't understand but is charming. Regards, ifti.

Gail, This  is conceptualized very well. It has a lot going on in it, which gives it the feeling of claustrophobia or pent up angst, but it's so well organized that it all makes sense. A beautiful piece.

Your support continually serves to motivate me, so I thank  you for this, and the time I see you taking to critique others.  This takes a huge 'chunk' of time out of your day Rashed, but you work very hard at sharing your thoughts with others.  Thanks again for your visit, warm regards, Gail

I find many times when working on an Abstract, that I can achieve a more desirable pattern when I mirror it.  Actualy I usually crop in half the 'half' I like best, and then merge it together as best I can.  Then from there I can go forward in whatever direction I find most desirable.  Some of my abstracts have a bit of meaning behind them...but most often they are 'celebrations of color and design'.   Thankyou for supporting my efforts Ruud, it is most appreciated. Sincerely, Gail

I got my computer problems resolved yesterday, but it was extremely So I haven't had the time yet to get over and visit your Portfolio and see what you managed to capture over the weekend.  I should be over later on, but want to thank you NOW for this visit and your words of 'support'.  Important and extremely appreciated.  Kind regards, Gail

Two of the most 'charming and supportive' fellows on PN!!  I hope you both realize just how much you and your words of encouragement are appreciated.  You both leave 'little smiles' on the Portfolios of many on a very regular basis.  We are truly fortunate to have you as our PN friends.  Thankyou for your visits and kind words.  Most sincerely, Gail

Thank you for your visit.  I will tell you something to make you fee a wee bit better.  Many times I do an abstract just to explore color and design.  Often, a shape emerges and I may 'go with it', but not very often do I put any 'deep thinking' into my ABSTRACTS....they are a 'release' for me when I've not been able to get anywhere with a conventional photograph.  Perhaps many others are the same.  If I post something that is colorful and you like it....I think that is great........and would enjoy hearing from you anytime.  Thankyou again for your visit and kind words, Gail

This image is quite involved, but if you take a look at it, when I did my first 'mirror'of the half I liked best, I saw the possibility of a shape of a 'figure' to me it looks like a figure with arms outstretched, a hat on its head, and a beautiful skirt, collar and wings that are behind the arms.  It is very involved, and perhaps causes 'angst' to attempt to figure it out....don't waste your 'angst'....just some compatible colors and designs within an image.   Many thanks Tony for your thoughts, and time, sincerely, Gail
