Another 'experiment' I wasn't sure whether to enter under Dig.Alt. or

Abstract....but went with Digital Alt. A bit involved, but I

enjoyed 'playing' along the way. Thankyou for viewing, Gail

Hi Gail, Fun to see what can be done experimenting with processing. Every time I try something it is so neat to see what it does. I think I could take a week off and just edit photos and enjoy getting lost in that pleasure of working with photos. It is sure a lot more fun than it was yrs ago when Iwould turn in a roll of film at the store and hope for the best. Take care.

Gail, the lovely, soft blossoms wilt with this treatment as if they are dissolving along with the clouds, sky, everything surrounding it.

Very creative Gail. There is a kind of alien world feel to this, an almost "Daliesque" look. Colours, composition and framing are excellent.

Nicely done, well worth the trip to the computer!

All my best,  Bill

I love this. There is a bit of Georgia O'Keefe there. I might be tempted to go to a more neutral frame, though, but that is a matter of personal taste.

I think what Van Gogh did with paintings, you are doing with your photography. Truly imaginative with emphasis on colour. I wouldn't say impressionistic but maybe surrealistic. I am not into flowers, but yours have captured my attention with your individual expression. No 7/7 allowed.

I can truly remember the days of 'film'.  I usually could barely afford getting my Neg's developed....often the photos were ruined.  Then there was a time when I visited the 'Thousand Islands' on the St. Lawrence River which leads into Lake Ontario.  Very Scenic....I took so many photos.....of trees, and more trees, and more trees.  I found it quite fascinating that what I saw in detail in the viewfinder, often was not so 'evident' on a snapshot.  Digital certainly has spurred many artistic folks and our photos can be combined with so much 'multi-media'.  Many thanks for your visit and kind remarks, sincerely, Gail
