The idea of descrbing the bokeh of sun is great, but maybe the lens' bokeh is not comfortable enough.

I suggest to change it to B&W, where the flower might be more impressing.

Rashed, Roger, Parthasarathi, Tony, MY Jalili- thank you for your kind words!

Lei Cai- to be honest, I don't think that B&W will work here. For me, one of the most important elements of this photo is the contrast blue flower - warm hues of the rest, this is what makes the flower stand out. The contrast light-dark is mainly between the 'sun' and the rest, it would not be enough to bring out the flower, even if I made it darker. Still, thanks for your suggestion!

Warm regards, stanislav

Agreed, complimentary colours make this photo work. If this is a crop from a larger frame, you may try to rotate the image so that the flower in not horizontal with the sun. In any case, just a simple, yet very beautiful capture! Thank you for posting.

Isabelle, Dror, Brano, Trisha- thank you!

Brano- it is a crop, but only from above and below, there is no more space on the borders. Your idea about rotating the image is very interesting, the flower looking up to the sun (a bit) might add more dynamics. I will play around with that, thanks for the hint!

Kind regards, Stanislav
