Quite different but quite appealing.  I like the branch in the diagonal position and having heart shaped leaves are a bonus along with good light.  There was a danger that this shot could come out with a limited tonal range but you succeeded.

Very effective image Bill. Your choice of processing rendered a very different and appealing outcome.  Good eye!  Most would just walk by this branch not giving it a second thought.  Sincerely, Gail
