Mike, thank you!  Another story...We have these petunias on our deck where I sit and read quite a bit.  The hummers seem to always arrive when my camera is out of reach.  At times they will hover in front of me, but only when I can't get to the camera.  Not on the day of this shot...which amazed me and my family.  A very lucky shot for 1/250 sec.

A wonderful capture. There is a tiny 'bead' on the beak - if that bead is really part of the background I might clone it out. Still a very wonderful image.
