Guest Guest Posted August 30, 2010 Beautiful image, outstanding light and so well timed, all of the best. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted August 30, 2010 Nice shot because the smoke pattern indicates the plane is falling, in a stall, rather flying forward. Link to comment
erikadams 0 Posted August 30, 2010 Outstanding. I love how the smoke pattern highlights the wing walker. Was this at Oshkosh? I got some wingwalker shots last year, but not this year. This pair has an unusual act; I've never quite understand the pirate slant to wingwalking. Walking the plank? Anyway, nice work. Link to comment
waltchapman 0 Posted August 31, 2010 Thanks for the comments from all of you. The act is the "Pirated Skies" The team is a husband and wife who are aerobatic flyers and perfom this act around the country. The wife is the wing walker. This was taken at a local airshow open house , not at Osh Kosh. The picture is taken at 1/250 shutter speed to catch the prop blur. They are just pulling out of a stall manuever, they basically fell flat quite a ways before the recovery. Shooting that slow also had a lot of motion blurred pictures but once I got to tracking them correctly that cleared up. Again thanks for the comments. Link to comment
