lonely door in venice

Admittedly, not a good photo. But I found a companion for it hereWhat is interesting is to notice that the water damage has dramatically increased over the years. In Tim's photo, which was taken in September 1998, the door appears to be intact at the bottom. In my photo, taken in Dec 2000, there is considerably more damage as the woodwork has begun to fall apart. Poor, sinking Venice.
