Micu...  Reminiscent of the early pin-up photography.  Teasing but tasteful.  I'd like it even better without the hard shadows.  Regardless, brave and well done... Mike

I am a sucker for eye contact. In this case, it just draws me in and captivates me. There is nothing spectacular about the lighting - in fact the harsh shadow might otherwise be a little distracting but alas, the beautiful girl is looking right at me! What's not to like. ;-)

7/7

Watch the cropping. I know it's hard to do on a self portrait, but try not to cut off your fore head next time. I'm not sure if it's the light or the make up, but your face is a VERY different shade from the rest of your body, it kind of looks unnatural. Nice pose, I like the eye contact alos and the placement of the fan is a nice prop idea.

Great work, I love the pose and the skintone is great.

Keep up the good work.

Best regards Tore

Really nice.  I know the challenge of self-portraits since I often use myself for lighting experiments.  I disagree about the shadows and cropping, I don't mind either.  I do agree about the uneven skin tones, especially your right hand and forearm which appear very grey and flat compared to the rest of your body and face.  The eye contact is awesome!

Those small quibbles aside... a beautiful, creative photograph.

Self-portraits present the most difficult of challenges with lighting, skin and poses. I find them very difficult, especially not owning any lighting equipment. I think you have done a great job here. I always end up looking like I have leprosy due to the light and my lack of technical knowledge so often I add noise or turn it into an "artistic" venture via Photoshop! I would love to one day get to the point in which the end result is a classic self-portrait. Very well done (you are a beautiful girl)! Thank you for sharing. :)
