lex_jenkins 13 Posted August 29, 2010 Note: Please excuse the cut-and-paste comment. For the moment I'm using attributed ratings but not offering critiques since some members have stated they would welcome such attributed ratings rather than anonymous ratings, regardless of carefully considered critiques or generic comments such as "Great capture!", "Well seen!" or any use of the word "Congrats!" without regard to elements such as careful planning, effort expended or pure serendipity. This is merely an experiment and nothing personal. If you would like a critique please feel free to e-mail me: lexnotlex2 at netscape dot net. I will make a sincere effort to respond to all such inquiries. Regards, Lex. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted August 29, 2010 I do not understand exactly what you are saying or every word but I'll take a guess. All critiques and ratings are welcome by me. I think people who rate anonymous do so to be honest without "backlash" or obliging someone to reciprocate. I prefer critiques with the rating. Some critiques are good; some are just fun to read. Congrats and Bravo are boring. I get many more 3s than 7s and seems like more 4s than 6s and that's okay. I think a 6 should be for something that would at least be considered for a show and a 7 might at least get "honorable mention". I don't see many of either of those around including my own. I have the gamut of critiques from "fucking good photography" to "you are sick" (my favorite, most funny). whatever is good by you is good by me. Link to comment
