It is the last 3 photos that are closing an unusual event. Please read (if you did not until now.)

The tradition in all 3 of them ,is years upon years old. The fathers accompanying the groom to the ceremony under the canopy ( chupa in Hebrew ) that takes place under the open sky.

Thanks for viewing.

Emotional.  The groom, wearing his kittle, supported on both sides to complete this milestone.  Solemnly and humbly looking down.  His father, holding the light, guiding his son, looking like an embodiment of tradition itself.  The effect of men merged with the leaves, looking so numerous as stars in the sky.

I think that the 3 last ones are the most significant in the traditional ceremony, as all 3 are photographed at the highest ,most important  moments of the entire  wedding. Thanks for your observant eye.( BTW the father on the R is the bride's father, the groom's was a bit in the shadow on the L, as they were entering from a narrow path of trees toward the yard, where the chuppah  took place)

My wife's family ranges from very observant to very secular.  I've been to a couple of their weddings, each holding a different revelation about faith and culture.  It's been an interesting learning experience for this Midwesterner.

Photographically, I like the large panels of light and dark.  The seriousness of the event overwhelms.
