jim_j2 9 Posted August 26, 2010 Great details!I especially like the way Mother Nature's pattern of the seeds in the center of the Sunflower draw your attention to it. The DOF and Composition are very attractive, as well as good lighting.Would cloning out the tree in the background make it better? I find it distracts just a bit!Best wishes,Jim j. Link to comment

gianpaolodettoma 0 Posted August 26, 2010 Details and color are great. The image looks too centered to me and the tree on the background a bit distracting Link to comment

swede621 0 Posted August 28, 2010 You have a very special talent, Pierre. I have seen so many images of sunflowers before, yet this one over-powered me right away. I read the other comments to see if anyone else saw what I saw. That is, to me this image appears to be three dimensional. In any case, it has superb colors and detail.Amazing to me... hstelljes 41 Posted August 29, 2010 But an absolutely perfect sunflower it is. With the obviously nicely blurred bg the clarity on this flower is excellent. Not what I'm accustomed to seeing from you but very glad you posted this. Take care PD......Holger Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted August 29, 2010 A lovely cheerful shot Pierre. Well composed and I must say....I don't think there is ever 'just a sunflower'....these beauties add so much SUNSHINE to our lives, and their seeds are tastey as well. Thankyou for sharing this bit of 'cheer'. A wonderful specimen of one of my FAV FLOWERS....congrats, beautiful!Warm regards, Gail Link to comment
saw 0 Posted August 30, 2010 Perhaps the lens was wide open (or close) for other reasons but I think the shallow depth is what makes this a fantastic pic. Good work! -saw- Link to comment
