he image reminds me of a particular photographer's work from the 1940-50's.  Can't drag up the  name at the moment.

This is very good...nicely composed, great pose and expression...amazing eye contact...and her freckles...gotta love it.  I really like a minimalist portraits...they are so powerful when executed properly...as is the case here.  Great job.
