gsphotoguy 3 Posted August 22, 2010 Sometimes I have to ponder your work before I comment, this one just grabbed me in a very strong way.The straight lines of the blinds contrast beautifully with the curves of the model. I love the way this is cropped and the shading of the B&W. The missing eyes, often so important, lends a sense of mystery, especially with the title. Not part of the photograph, but quite distracting here, is the chili. I fully get its purpose but wish I could shut it off. Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted August 26, 2010 Mark, The elements you describe are what makes this photo good for me too. I don't always like the photos I upload but I do like this one. I hear what you say about the chilli. I should have moved it at least in this image. Thanks a lot.Owen, Thanks a lot. Mark does give very insightful comments and critiques, as do you.Richard, It does seem to be the lines and curves that make this image. Thanks a lot.Raymond, Fortunately, the girl is very much alive! (I am sure you will agree.) Thanks for taking the time. Link to comment
