marcadamus 1 Posted August 21, 2010 Some amazing light this night. Reposted this one after processing on the home monitor. The colors were among the most vibrant I have ever seen. Link to comment
josie_jackson 0 Posted August 22, 2010 Wow! love the colours and darkness in this one, it's brilliant, absolutely fabulous :o) Link to comment
patflynn 0 Posted August 22, 2010 Exhilarating lighting here - balancing that against the jagged unevenness of the peaks must've been a multi-process effort. These results are excellent. Link to comment
esteban Rios 18 Posted August 22, 2010 Another magnific composition, I love the flowers in foreground these give perspective and dimention.Congrats. 7/7 Link to comment

philippealbanel 0 Posted August 24, 2010 Marc, the light is really delicious and quiet. The flowers are exactly converging to the moutain peaks, composition is working perfectly.Knowing all your work I can say honestly that the left top part of the sky is a little bit surreal, perhaps a little bit less contrast here would quiet this skyPhil Link to comment
rolph 0 Posted August 24, 2010 I contemplate your work with admiration since I was born here on PN.But I noticed some changes on your pictures. This one is really awesome, but in fact,it doesn't really represent reality.Your older pics looked more "real".Sky and flowers are oversaturated and doesn't really represent the kind of scenes an eye can really catch and see.Maybe I'm wrong and/or maybe it's your goal, but still love your work.Keep on shooting.Regards,Rolph ;) Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted August 24, 2010 "Less like Reality"? - the same has been said about all aspects of photography today. It's far more an art form than it's ever been, sure, but nevertheless, I still have to spend 5-10 full days in the field on average for every image I capture. That said, I don't know any way to replicate reality other than to experience it yourself. The camera is a complete and utter failure in my eyes. Times change, technology changes, people change and wherever it all takes me, I'll embrace it. This was some of the best light I've ever seen and the flowers were just a hair from being saturated out of gamut with no RAW adjustment. The only way to really describe it to you would have been to have you there. Failing that, this is my best effort. Link to comment
philippealbanel 0 Posted August 25, 2010 Art is not reality, it is a langage to traduce feeling and ideas.. if we report reality we are reporters and not artist. And who can say that he knows those kind of shooting conditions, personnaly not then I can only judge about the aesthetic and artistic proposal.Marc, I'm really impatient to see the new releases cause you are on a new way and it is visible and exciting.. Keep going Marc ! Link to comment
philippealbanel 0 Posted August 25, 2010 Someone said something like this in september 2007 : "Never judge a photograph by anything the photographer has done in the past. Never be afraid to experiment and try new things otherwise you will never grow as an artist."I think this guy today is always the same... a pure artist.;-)Phil Link to comment
ndj 0 Posted September 1, 2010 Really spectacular Marc! That sky is just outta this world. The composition is superb, with excellent depth, beautiful, well conceived, foreground, excellent light on the peak, and that sky is backdrop to die for. Superb work! All the best,Neil Link to comment
darius.tulbure 0 Posted September 5, 2010 Fantastic picture! Fantastic DOF and colors! By the way, how did you achieve this depth of field? Multiple shots at different focus distances? Link to comment
