Generally I don't shoot in the early afternoon, but in this case, I took what I could get. With some sunlight streaming in, the color values strengthened, even though it was around 3 pm. The seaside environment is rich and diverse. The ice plant is a vivid combination of green and red, so the contrast is striking. The Sonoma coast offers many choice beaches and all for free. It is often possible to find your own personal cove and enjoy the breaking waves over rugged rocky coastline. Access is usually no more than a short walk down a well maintained series of steps. As rugged as this vantage appears, the walk down was easy enough for my 5 year old daughter. I look forward to returning. Thanks for offering your impressions!

Great job Mark, the plants in the foreground pop out of the screen at you, and the colouring is superb. I also think it's nice to see a shot in bright sunshine and blue sky from time to time, it really shows the full amount of detail that the equipment is capable of taking in.

best wishes mate, Dave.
