i loved the color version, but only till i saw the b&w one... the latter seems to be more impactful -- the composition is exceedingly well thought out, had you not included the 'outer' wall in so much of the frame the depth would not have been achieved... the spotlights on the inner ceiling, the light they throw on the floor, lead us in -- into the 'inner world'... the gentle figure completes the composition... my compliments!

Both versions are look,great!...Nice tones,well composition and meaningful shot,Amalda!...Thnx alot for sharing and I dedicate only 7/7.

Great composition Amal, although I do not know where this is....but it could be 'anywhere' ....the inner sanctum....appears to be a very fine place, very regal with fine things awaiting the viewer.  The man walking  away adds the perfect human element, otherwise the shot would look very stark.  Great perspective and depth of field.  Sincere regards, Gail

Gail, the place is National Musueum of Singapore. The place is beautiful and rich with displays. But you got my idea for uploading this image.  You would have enjoyed visiting this musueum. My friend Alec Ee, took me there and showed me around. I am deeply indebted to him.

I like the original most for it's subtle contrast in colours (yellowish foreground and bluish background).

The original makes the best statement of outer vs. inner world.
