conceptual work "Along the Watch Tower"

Kept coming back to the orginal shot of the Mountians and following

my dark impressistic tastes with some Mythical influences. This came

out of long seaching hours in PS

This could be part of The Lord of the Rings.

That book has been in my blood since the mid 60's and I have read it many,many times.Along with Jung, Hesse and Watts. Thats one reason I left SF in 1967 was to find true wilderness and see real Mountians and the wilderness. It is still here and many places have never been seen. And one never knows what will be around the next bend or over that Mt. Maybe a watch tower in the mist?

I have just started studing photograpy, butn this photograph is amazing and inspirational I hope one day to be able to do things like this!! It really is fantasic!!

I like the light in here, and the high contrast. Impressive in that sense. But I don't manage to really understand what I am looking at. What is this Watch tower ? And is it at the top of the mount on the right side ?

Sorry, but your imagination is confusing me again...:-) TOO imaginative ? Nooo, but I'm lost here. So all I can tell you for now is that the left side of the image cropped in a square format would really fascinate me. I don't mean you should crop or anything of that sort, because I realize that cropping will completely kill your story... but I thought I'd at least tell you that... willing to know more as well. Regards.

yes Marc the watch tower is on the right. The tile can refer to Bob Dylan's song "All along the watch Tower" as well. I just like the idea of ancient castels and ruins being in Alaska...Which they are not of course....So I but them there. Watch Tower is strong foritfied keep to watch for enimies. Here is the uncroped verison which I like as well.
