Your bird is a cedar waxwing. Great color and tones in the bird and feathers. I would prefer to see it offset more in the image to avoid the center focal point, it would be a stronger image.

Is this really captured using Nikon P90 ?? if that is true, It proves again, Its the photographer that really matters not the Camera. Congrats .. beautiful Image!!!

thanks for the feedback.  I am going to try and attach the original with just resizing so hopefully you can see the exif data.

 

and yeah, a bit of talent? and creativity can go a long way in making a photo work.  all of my portfolio is with either the p90 or and even less capable Nikon Coolpix s10
