michelguyot 0 Posted August 16, 2010 I like this one a lot. It could be *only* a good architecture shot, but your added story and humor adds so much. It's also nicely composed, and well converted in B&W. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted August 16, 2010 Oh My, you were very fortunate here to capture this moment when "one of us" is doing his "duty" while these tree so clearly reminds that this place is real, not a postcard, and things happen there, actions/work that not too many would care to document, especially so finely framed and processed as you did. Bravo! Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 17, 2010 Your work just blows me away. Your vision and the technical expertise with which you express it places you among the very best photographers, at least as far as I'm concerned. There is not a single detail in this picture I would change. Cartier-Bresson responded to critical praise of one of his most famous shots by saying "it's all luck...but you've got to be ready for the luck". There's no doubt in my mind that you are "luckier" than most. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 17, 2010 hi gunnar,,, looks like you used a pencil crayon to draw this... the people appeared to be outlined in black. its really good in my eyes... samme Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted August 18, 2010 Ruud, Tatjana, Tony, Michel, Markku, Ektor, Jack, Jef, Samme, thank you so much for your comments and kind words!Actually I was preparing for architectural shot that is why the details on the background are also quite accurately on place. Usually for street shots you shoot a scene and you receive the scene with background as it is. In this case the background is prepared first and the scene was just happened. Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted August 18, 2010 I can see Gunnar that there were many photographic opportunities in this space..like in the ancient Greek theatre drama was followed by comedy, I guess it relieved the tension and this is achieved with this splendidly toned photo. Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted August 18, 2010 Whether by chance or intent, the end result is stupendous! My compliments! Link to comment
