andrzejp 7 Posted August 16, 2010 Incredibly varied mood on this photo. I think that if it was possible to crop out woman with a child (top left) it would make a fantastic portrait. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted August 17, 2010 Very emotional in that she is sort of surrounded by her future. Beautiful girls. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 17, 2010 My first impression was that they look like manekins. A couple of years back I took a picture of a "family" of manekins, posed something like this in a department store display and that picture shot into my mind when I saw this. I especially like the bemused expression on the little girl, second from the right. Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted August 18, 2010 It seems quite regal and majestic. Like Cinderella. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted August 18, 2010 For me it looks like the index of a family novel. A whole chapter could be written on each of these with their worries, insecurity and in the case of the children naivety. The bride is almost the only one that tries make what looks like a smile but it is mechanical and artificial. The young mother lifting her chin as saying some of us have already pass by this phase of life. In short Pnina a very interesting group photo that tells more than reality. The force of photography when is it most interesting.Another interesting aspect of the photo is it's composition. You have slightly turned the focus so that we see the flowers to the right. The interesting is however that you by this also have followed the eyes of at least three of the persons that all look towards something happening to the right of the photographer which might announces what is to come. The bridegroom ? Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted August 18, 2010 Ruud , thanks as always. Andrew, Imo ( personal taste) the mother and child are adding to the photo, as a part of a married future. Thanks though for your suggestion. Donna, and Jana, thanks you both, it was a nice gathering of the family young and adult women. Jack, thanks for your impressions on all of them,I appreciate your taking the time, to write your feelings. Bob, it was a very beautiful wedding. If she felt like Cinderella... I have no answer ;-)) but she looked like a princess. Anders, again an observant point of view. But I understand the faces of the group after 1000 photographs taken....The professional photographers alone took so many, and I looked differently of what was going on, which was very unusual for me. You are right about the force of photography when one is capable to explore behind the scene. Yes the bridegroom was on his way. I have sent the family nearly 30 photos as my present . I will upload only a few more. Vladimir , thanks as well for stopping and commenting Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted August 18, 2010 Pnina, princess is smiling because you said "SMILE".Others are not so friendly with you and thus not reacting to your command. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 18, 2010 I did not give any orders to anyone.... ;-)) There were two professional photographers invited by the family, I was there, and photograohed my own point of view. Link to comment
