This Slightly Surreal Life

Sometimes in life we record just slightly surreal glimpses which never

are thoroughly explained. Why is this woman turned toward the wall? Is

she about to bend down to pick something up and adjust her clothing

and she's, bracing herself against the wall because of a bad back or

knee, is she anti-social, perhaps she's holding things for another vendor

who's on toilet break, maybe she's somehow sensed that the fast-

walking photographer might take her photo (not likely given his gait),or

something else. One will never know, just as in so many of life's

slightly surreal moments recorded for our brains in the blink of an eye,

then walked past and 'almost' forgotten except perhaps for a recorded

I blew this up in Photoshop and looked at the products she's selling.

 The largest package, bottom, is Lili moist wipes,I am sure for cleaning somewhere I probably should not mention,

The rectangular packages, top right, seem to have an imprint on them (I can't read the type), that depicts a well-known preservatif (condom).

I can't read the packaging for the third item but maybe some local can fill me in and also verify the identify of item No. 2, above.

What a way to make a living, standing on a Metro tunnel selling 'personal and intimate items' held in your hand, to passersby.

Maybe she was about to sneeze and wondering what to do with those things in her hand so carefully arranged?

Life's tough and pretty raw when you have to make a living thusly.

But Ukrainians are pretty tough people; few softies grow up in Ukraine the genetic stock is pretty darn good  too, with some very beautiful /handsome people, and among the youths, almost no Western-style overweight kids.

(Even though McDonald's is pretty well represented  it's got Western prices which few can afford, though the stores are ALWAYS CROWDED' in part because the food is freshly cooked and hot 95% of the time (exceptions, Western style, are creeping in, though.)
