I liked the stormy appearance of this macro of a piece of driftwood in the Bay of

Fundy, but it may not have enough "subject" to make it a good abstract. Your opinion?

Beautiful image and so well lit, I wonder if this image been taken by a large format , how it would look, details wise.

Rashed, thank you (and sorry to be late in replying). In fact the lighting was easy, as it was overcast and the object was fairly planar. It was just a 35mm digital camera (1.33X sensor crop) but I don't remember the size of the driftwood or which lens I used (macro or not).

Clive, now that you mention it, yes. The fun of abstract like images (created by nature, and simply seen by man) is that they can illicit many forms of interpretation. Thanks for visiting this image.
