Beautiful work Douglas! There are a number of appealing things to look at here. The clouds, the fog/mist, the mountains, the stream, the tree, and the rock at the lower right create a wondrously dramatic scene where you get a sense that nature is a single living breathing being. This incredibly busy picture seems to unite under that single theme and I absolutely feel that it succeeds. Additionally, great work with the color, tone, and lighting here; it puts the focus where it needs to be.
