marcadamus 1 Posted August 12, 2010 Spray from the Oregon's Proxy Falls is extremely intense and it required about 350 images over two days to work the scene, wiping my lens after nearly all of them and trying to keep my set-up from moving. The image is a blend of two exposures for dynamic range - one for sky and one for everything else, and three other exposures which allowed me to remove minor water spots. The primary exposure was 8/10 of a second which was enough time to allow the spray in the air to catch the light in the form of the beams you see here. Link to comment

harrylichtman 0 Posted August 29, 2010 Marc - Very cool the way the misting light shafts mirror the shape of the falls above and the water below the mossy rocks. Also, I like those logs angling toward the center of the image while the water and spray angles away. These just work perfecting to unite the whole image. At an intstant glance the image draes me in. My fav of your recent few.Regards, Harry Link to comment
