dallalb 0 Posted August 11, 2010 An old slide of 2005 shows the beautiful interior of Mont Saint Michel's Abbey...Thank you if you would spend a little time to watch this photo and leave me a sincere comment or a critique. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted August 11, 2010 Alberto, it is a beautiful interior, well captured. My only concern is that the altar and dome look a little blown. Is it possible to tone them down a little? Link to comment
dallalb 0 Posted August 12, 2010 Thank you for your nice comment! I followed your suggestion and toned down a little the altar zone (see in the attachment), but that zone was at the limit of overexposure (this is a Velvia 50)... What do you think?Regards, Alberto. Link to comment
vadima 0 Posted August 13, 2010 Nice work, the light/dark contrast is indeed striking. Link to comment
mauroni 0 Posted September 7, 2010 Hi Alberto! Everything's ok?I like very much this picture, but I would like to know if you have taken into account the opportunity to correct - in post production - the perspective error. Something like the example above.Be fine, my friend!Mauro Link to comment
dallalb 0 Posted September 9, 2010 Nice to meet you again on PN!Thank you for your comment: you are right Mauro, but I will confess you that the original image was already perspective corrected... I firstly pushed the correction to get your result, but the necessary crop made me loose the continuity of the upper arc and I don't like the result. So I preferred not to correct the perspective entirely to keep that important detail.I will email you (in Italian!) to update you about the last events.Take care, Alberto. Link to comment
