Sesham,

She is a pretty girl. The background is nicely neutral and she is well separated from it. Her make-up looks very good. Your left and right compositional balance is excellent.

The lighting looks quite good, but she should have catch lights in her eyes to give them life. There is a reflection in the outside corner of her right eye (in the white of her eye), but I wouldn't really call that a catch light. It looks like an out of place reflection to me.

Her skin tone is very nice, but she has some dark areas on her ankles, left knee, left arm and her chin. These must be retouched. She also has some very noticeable wrinkles on her left foot that should be softened.

You have her in a very strange pose. It appears her left elbow is pushed forward. This moves her left shoulder forward which moves her chest back. All in all, her posture doesn't look very good. Her leg position looks good. You could try it with her left foot pointed more toward the camera. You may like that a little better. Try having her place one of her hands down on her thigh so that only one is on her hip. You might also have her turn her upper body a bit so that it wasn't so straight on to the camera. A body angled to the camera looks thinner, more feminine and more graceful.

Looking up towards the subject's face doesn't always work very well. You often end up looking up her nose. You could give her feet a little more room at the bottom. Your crop is a little close to her toes.

It could be just the positioning of her hand, but it sure looks like she has a couple of fingernails on her right hand that are much shorter than the others. You would want to make sure these are not showing.

Nice shot,

Mark
