Shaft Tower

Shaft tower of an old coal mine. Both contrast in colour and

juxtaposition of heavy, stiff, lasting steel and light, soft, volatile

cloud caught my eye.

With style.  The composition is spare, but gorgeous.  And the color scheme, so simple, works well.  I like the little bit of orange cast in the clouds, which pulls this photo somewhere closer to a dream state than a documentary shot.

I love the balance between the tower's precision and the random clouds.  Colors are terrific!  Compliments! ~~~~~L
