Harry, the cable car offered a lazy way to climb up there. And we were lucky to find a guestroom about 15 min above the lake. But yes we kept us quite busy. We visited the lake in the afternoon, for sunset, at midnight and early in the morning for the shift from the moonlight to the sunlight.

Meil, the strange object at the edge of the lake is an artwork in which you can enter and see the landscape from different amazing and changing perspectives.

Nice colors at the first moment of the day. This is one (there are more of course) of the best places for Matterhorn sunrise. Congrats for the effort to be there at the firs hour in the morning (if you didn't sleep on the bench :) )
