paolo de faveri 1 Posted August 9, 2010 A tranquil corner of Burano, on a late afternoon of December. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Techs: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, tripod. Stitched from 5 vertical frames, double exposure blending for each frame Link to comment
samrat 1 Posted August 9, 2010 Your description of "tranquil" is apt. It is also interesting to see how well you have presented a photo of Burano, where most people (myself included) start clicking the fishermens' houses. Though Venice and its surrounding islands have crisscrossing canals, your presentation is still so very fresh. So I gather you have exposed once for the water and once for the sky (and other well-lit areas) and have merged the two, right? Sorry, but I remain a technical novice. Link to comment
paolo de faveri 1 Posted August 9, 2010 Thanks all for commenting on this pales, I appreciate that.Samrat, that's exactly what I did. I merged an exposure for highlights (basically, the brighter parts of the sky) on another exposure for everything else. And I did that for all the five vertical frames. After that, I made the mosaic.Cheers,Paolo Link to comment
