Matthew Brennan 3 Posted August 7, 2010 After a decade of drought, strong winter rains have made the local landscape wet and filled the local farm dams. This photograph taken from the tray back of my pick up vehicle to gain extra height close to sunset. Link to comment
vbirke 0 Posted August 7, 2010 Hopefully, this will continue / occur again over the upcoming years (winter periods). Unfortunately, SA has been getting dryer and dryer over the last 5-10 years. Keep my fingers crossed. Anyway, this is a stunning image, reminds me on shots I've taken in April between Kingston SE and Millicent during a rainy day and last year in the Coorong NP... All of them are magic places, simply stunning and wonderful, especially during cloudy / rainy days you're showing us here, and it is a sheer joy to watch and document their beauty - you're fully revealing it. Congrats. Link to comment

veezais_gr 0 Posted August 10, 2010 Fine light and a composition that works very well for me! The light on the foreground grass is amazing (when viewed in the larger version) and the reflection is the final little touch for a great photo. Congratulations! Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted September 8, 2010 What a beautiful sky! The color and depth are a visual pleasure...must be viewed larger to really appreciate. As stated above the reflection adds the final touch.Take care, Pamela Link to comment
