jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted August 7, 2010 The purpose of life is to learn. To learn to love oneself and others first. Then life provides for infinite ways to reach that goal. At times it appears that we are hating and getting angry more than loving, how ever at the end the intention is to get you to let go, forgive and love. Tell me your view on the purpose of your life. Thank you for looking. Rates/Comments appreciated. Link to comment

sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted August 7, 2010 Yes, Jorge, you ‘re absolutely right. The most important learning in life is learning how to love. The purpose of life is to be happy by loving others and to make others happy. Best regards… Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted August 7, 2010 The purpose of life is to achieve perfection and it's being done through giving, giving love first of all! So, I agree with you! Nice picture you have chosen to "teach" people to love! Abrazo!PDE Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted August 10, 2010 This photograph is a clear demonstration that children ask questions with no ulterior motives. Children experience learning for its own sake, with little concern for its benefit. Unfortunately, the "adult world" teaches otherwise, that learning is valuable only as a means to an end. In any case, I really like this shot. It really conveys the innocence this young lady's face.My compliments, michaelPS I don't know the purpose of my life, much less the purpose of life in general. To me, this is part of the great unknown, and maybe it is unknowable. I view my life as a journey, and I am trying harder as I go to make each little side trip count. Link to comment
