3m 0 Posted August 7, 2010 Lovely capture of this authentic moment... I really sense a quiet mood here...Very nice setting, against the mountains beyond, and very good composition, Mehmet! Best regards, Marjolein Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted August 7, 2010 A study in concentration. A pity that the light wasn't from the front.Still like it though Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted August 8, 2010 I like how the pole moves diagonally through the shot, anchoring it all within the shot. Link to comment

jim_air 0 Posted August 9, 2010 You have chosen your moment very well and captured a way of life for us all to see. As Jeffs has said the diagonal pole works to enhance the scene. Kind regards, Jim Link to comment

aarkp 2 Posted March 22, 2011 a superb documentary photograph... the pov is respectful, his head is perfectly placed against the sky with the mountains at his shoulder line, he himself continues and concentrates on his work with no evident interaction with the photographer - who thus remains a non-intrusive participant in the composition... every element in the frame is in perfect place for a pleasing image... the backdrop plays a secondary, but harmonious, role in relationship with the man... the diagonal pole, clutched carefully under his busy arm, is (as some have already mentioned) a dynamic asset to the composition... the tones are totally in consonance with the requirements of the composition... some would have made ill-advised use of the sharpening tool but you have not... impressive and outstanding work, Mehmet Link to comment
