paolo de faveri 1 Posted August 5, 2010 well, that's what those big, dark, stormy clouds were telling to everyone in the valley - i.e. yours truly and, perhaps, a few marmots :-) Rather amazingly it didn't rain, instead the sky broke a few minutes later, flooding the valley with the warm light of the setting sun. This is the Valnontey river, with the walls and glacier of the Gran Paradiso massif in the background. Taken about a week ago.
