Guest Guest Posted August 2, 2010 Thadd,She is a cute moppet. you have focused well on her eyes. She has very good catch lights and a nice expression. Her skin tone is excellent. The stray hairs on her face don't really bother me.I don't like the hot pink material on her right. It draws my attention away from her face.The crop into her hair is not bad, but you have a merger on the bottom (her chin is just touching the bottom of the frame). I would crop below her chin.I would either add more to the left side or crop some off the right side. Your subject should have more room in front of her than behind. This allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph.Nice shot,Mark Link to comment
