WOW!!!  I haven't used that exclamation in a long time!  But this is amazing!  I love the effect, which actually looks like flames lapping up around the boat.  The silhouette is really effective here as well.   How did you do this?

I started off by working on a sunflower picture, with a texture from the chiminera we have.  I wasn't happy with the way it was turning out, so I added a fishing boat picture that I made look like a silouette.  Finally, I also overlaid a picture of soap running down the car window from a carwash.  There are four images in this composition.  I couldn't give you specifics on exactly what I did because I used the un-do button several times.  Lots of layers in here!!!

Thanks.....I get the idea at least.  Your PS skills certainly are impressive.  I can't wait until I have more 'tools' at my disposal.  My computer with my (primitive) photo editing program crashed, so I haven't been able to do anything.  I need to research and buy a new computer.  Then I can install the CS4 program and Lightroom 2 Programs I have.  Can't wait!  But there are a few things getting in the way.......an upcoming 3-week trip to the Pacific NW and rehabbing 2 houses that seems to be taking all of my 'free' time these days.  I miss posting on PN, but I'll get back to it eventually!  BTW.....I'm marking this as a favorite!

Thanks, Christal!  Photoshop is fun!  I love using it almost as much as I do taking the pictures in the first place.  :)

It is a very long time....But I was attracted to this one, which is very unusual. Reading your explanation, your skills are really well developed. Fire and water( boat) what a contrast. Very well executed.

I hope you and your family  are well. Nice to see your work again.

Thanks for visiting, Pnina.   I still come on PN every now and again.  Like life, it's changed over the years.  :)
