Like a scene from a Film Noire, the lighting makes the mood in this picture. I can hear the soft piano in my head.

This could easily be the poster for a thriller.  I love the shadowed figure wending its way down the barely lit walkway.

A mood of fleeting vulnerability with deep shadow, darkness, effect of fog around evening bulb, silhouette of lone woman, yet it also feels familiar and quietly peaceful, the arch embracing light beyond it welcoming.
