This kind of a shot has great potential.  However, some of the darks are too dark, to the point where you can't really see the eyes.  Don't know if you have a setting for contrast, but this is very high key...maybe a bit too much.  You might like to go back to this original and re-work it from there.  Again, I do like the feel of the photo very much.
