lb1 0 Posted July 24, 2010 Image was taken as long time exposure. This time i used a special b&wtransition: I changed the green in post processing with Silver Efex tothis infrared-like look. Minimal further post processing. All comments are welcome. Link to comment
lb1 0 Posted July 26, 2010 Thank you for your encouraging words, Amir. This composition is probable not anybodys taste, but by showing this photo (willfuly, cause i am new as fullmember here) i wanted to check out, how far i can go at Photo.net with showing surreal compositions. (It makes no sense to show abstract or artistic works to people, who are awaiting a zoo lion or a naive flower composition.) I am glad, that most of the people here seem to be advanced photographers with an open mind for "weird" shots. So i will probable show a bit more of this strange stuff in the future... ;-)Cheers - Lutz Link to comment
michal_skrzypczak 0 Posted July 28, 2010 I have returned to this photo after some time and I still think that it is one of your finest experimental works. Link to comment
lb1 0 Posted August 2, 2010 @Michal: Thx a lot - and to be honest: I think so too, Michal. It was a moment of inspiration and i found afterwards the most effective post processing work. So i think, this is one of my best images, that i have shown here.... But when we face the rating of the Photo.net user, they do not think so - they think, this is an "ordinary" shot, they not even think, it is good. Hmhmhm... ;-) Nevertheless i think, we two are right, not the voters. But it does not make sense for me, to show here more of this kind of stuff. Photo.net is simply not the platform for such works, and i knew that before. Photo.net is for idealized, colourful and simple "wow"-shots, i will concentrate my submissions on these topics and stay with my other works at Flickr. :-) Link to comment
