Technically well done.

Very nice comp and colors.

There is a bit too much noise (which can easily be corrected in editing), and the eyes need to be a bit sharper.

I'll piggy back on Charles' comment.  A bit more DOF would indeed have been beneficial but I think what you have will do if the alternative was to pass up the shot.  The diagonal placement of the subject also adds a valuable dynamic and the colour of the background compliments the colours found on the subject.  Great reward for your patience and efforts.  Best, LM.
