A characteristic type of the proud Greek shepherds, living in the high

mountains of Pindos in central Greece.

His rough wooden stick is an essential tool for gathering his flock.

Splendid photo of this Shepherd. His ruggedness and weather beaten face are well portrayed and the Crook on his arm ties it all in nicely....Bravo!

Technically brilliant work! Very detailed and nice natural colors. The choice of dof is perfect, integrating the bg as part of the shepherds environment. Brilliant work indeed - squared cut included. Compliments!

Underline all the comments already written above...! You did capture his proud expression, and yes, depicting the wooden staff is really essential in the photo, and immediately shows the context here, and  this man's livelihood, imo... A truly fine human portrait! Best regards, Marjolein

First class portrait with beautiful composition, great expression and superb light. The seriousness of his face, imposing mustache and the wooden stick on his shoulder reveal an unique character of this highlander. Outstanding work!

KAROLOS, a well composed image with excellent background. The cloth, staff and pose contribute to a superb presentation.  What makes it for me is his abontant head of strong hair!!! Next life time I am bringing hair like him!!! Los que evaluaron esta imagen menos de seis se las tienen que ver conmigo en el otro lado, porque es absolutamente insierto!!! Once again CONGRATULATIONS MY FRIEND.  Warm regards.

Lovely, Karolos, the wind in his har brings added spontaneity and authenticity to the image. The focus and color are spot on. Nice work, as usual. Regards.
