I like the subject and composition as well as the square crop. The lighting though, is a bit overpowering. The light appears to be from a nearby window, and is too strong from the right side. This shot may have been better taken in the evening under artificial light. Just my opinion. Regards, --George

Hello George, I am happy with your opinion, and it is correct, it is natural light from an open door, and I did like that effect, I was curious if other people also did like that, but I can completely understand what you are saying, and that's nice to have all different 'eyes'

You create an excellent photo with a difficult message. I leige the pooristic style and the posure of the couple, they seems a little bit shy, and a little bit resignated. Thanks for sharing

Its all about the moment when you are taking the photo. Afterwards when it travels through eyes to eyes, thousands of if & but's may arise to critique. Then you can also realise the fact, but after all of these, its again comes to that moment when you pressed the shutter. Because the sweet sound of the shutter can hear at that time only.

Hi Els....

good to see you'r still busy with pushing the button. I agree with the comment about the light. Better close the door next time, take a light tripod and set yor white balance/ It might a longer exposure time, but that's where the tripod comes in. Or you must have a very steady pair of hands ( in the old days I could expose with about two seconds from hand, but that is longggggg ago)

I also did include a small shot of how it could be. Just a rough process, but it could be saved if important enough. A matter of 'oefenen.. oefenen.. oefenen.... ' and watch very vlosely at the colours.

Always good to see you Hanszio with a Z..... I for sure cannot go back to do it over, but somehow I do like how the light is breaking in into this picture, I know it is not 'correct' but who give me this rules? But it is good to hear what other people see and think, thank you and I probably will not oefenen ;D....and for sure not oefenen oefenen and oefenen, that is much too much
