My father's older brother passed away 2 summer's ago, and  while my parents went on a Cruise, I dropped in to help care for my Uncle.  He was around 90 years, lived alone.  On a tiny table he kept close to his chair, it was piled high(at least 4 inches deep) with all the photos of his family, his wife who'd passed on,  people he had worked with, and one he kept close to the top, of his MOTHER..............

I think the older one gets, these photos become constant reminders of how 'vibrant' they once were in their youth, how much family means and meant, and a way of not 'forgetting' WHO they are. Beautiful shot with an 'up close and personal' look of 'LIFE'.  congrats,,,,wonderful shot and original idea.  Sincerely, Gail

Jean-Marc, I have been slow to write comments recently, but this moved as I have a number of my father's old photos which I photographed last time I went home which I need to process and print for my sisters. There are many among them I had not seen before.

I love the idea of this photo. The hands in the picture add a beautiful touch to the feeling aged and experieneced hands and the black and white photos even though it may not be the persons hands in the picture but it kind of puts a timeless face to the hands. The lighting is interesting too it looks like there is a spotlight on the pictures and its a beautiful shot all around.

Thank you Theresa for your comment. The person in the B&W photo is the one handling the them. Thanks again. Regards, Jean-Marc
