vince_pulvirenti 0 Posted November 21, 2002 Can you imagine how great this would look in black and white? Link to comment
buck_forester 0 Posted November 25, 2002 This storm had just dumped 4 feet of new snow on the Sierras and was now tapering off. I thought there was some cool things goin' on with the clouds, including a lenticular formation and some big dark gloomy ones as well. This was late evening and the sun was just about gone, but provided enough light to highlite the peaks of the Sierras. I used my 200mm zoom, no filters, and snapped a couple shots. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated. My photo/wilderness adventure hero was Galen Rowell, and I always wonder what he would have done in the various wilderness situations I'm in. Obviously he always made much better decisions (Ha! I'm in no way comparing myself to him, that's for sure!, but he does make me think about what lens he would've used, and filters, and exposures and such). I'm always open to suggestions so I can better capture wild places! Thanks! Link to comment
